Sunday Services

Come and worship with us!

First Presbyterian provides an opportunity for traditional worship in our historic sanctuary. We follow the reformed model for liturgy (the order of worship), prayer, Scripture, preached word, music (led by organ and choir) and congregational response. In our worship, we seek to magnify the glory of God and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ in ways that challenge the mind, nourish the spirit, honor tradition, demonstrate liturgical depth, exercise creativity through music and the arts, and address the needs of individuals and communities today.

Join us from at home or far away
First Presbyterian provides an opportunity for online worship through live stream and recorded services on our App, and on Facebook and Youtube. The links for our social media pages can be found below.  The livestream is on our Home page above.

What to Expect

When: Services are held each Sunday morning at 10:00 am. Adult Sunday School classes meet at 9:00 am.
Where: Sunday services are held in the main sanctuary. The front door to the sanctuary can be found just opposite the Clarksville downtown commons at the corner of 3rd and Main streets.

First Presbyterian Church's music is varied within a traditional framework. Instrumental and vocal solos contribute to the atmosphere of worship. Choirs are available for children through adults.
We remember the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month. By receiving communion, we are renewed and empowered to be the church--the body of Christ--in the world.
