The vision of First Presbyterian Church, Clarksville, TN, is to glorify God through worship, service, education, and the arts.

• To worship and glorify God by following Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom of God in word and deed to everyone within our reach, lighting the way to God for others, inviting others to follow Jesus.

• To educate people of all ages in the way of Jesus, learning from and teaching each other the truth of Scripture, growing and nurturing the growth of others in the faith as we apply our ancient beliefs and Christian ideals to life in a modern world.

• To grow closer to one another as a Christian family through genuine fellowship and unified partnership; creating a community of love, care, and support to meet the needs of those who belong to us so that, stronger together, we can meet the challenges that face us.

• To serve our community and world with love and generosity, ministering to and giving aid to our materially less fortunate neighbors, networking and partnering, influencing government and agency policies, and sharing our resources to improve our local community and our world.

• To preserve the history and heritage of a Reformed / Presbyterian presence and leadership now 200+ years strong in the heart of downtown Clarksville, maintaining the legacy of generations past on behalf of generations yet to come.
