Irene Center for Hope

Never too late for a helping hand.

Formerly known as the Service Committee, the Irene Center for Hope is a non-profit, 100% funded by grants and donations. Our mission is to provide essential support and relief to individuals and families facing financial hardships in our community. At the heart of our mission is the belief that every person deserves access to basic necessities and the opportunity to rebuild their lives during difficult times.

Through our work, we are committed to addressing the critical needs of our neighbors by offering assistance with things like education, housing, prescription medicines, transportation, and utility bills. In addition to utility assistance for those in need, The Center has been providing aid to victims of the December 9, 2024 tornado in Clarksville and scholarships to Seasons’ students who are unable to afford tuition. The Center also received a $25,000 grant to hire a contractor to build a walking trail for Liberty Elementary School and will enlist the help of the Boy Scouts.

We aim to create a compassionate and supportive network that empowers individuals and strengthens the bonds within our community. We envision a community where no one is overlooked, and everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Together, we can create a brighter and more resilient future with peace and hope.
