Gregory L. Glover
Pastor
Pastor Greg is a teaching pastor with a deep respect for the Word of God and abiding love for God's people. He grew up in West Tennessee and returned home to accept FPC's call as pastor in 2014. Greg is married to Beth and has two children, Grace and Christina. He is dedicated to FPC's mission and values: authentic worship, service to those who are in need, excellence in education, genuine fellowship, and our Presbyterian heritage. Greg graduated from Union University with a BA (English Literature major, Greek minor) and from Princeton Theological Seminary with an MDiv and PhD (Biblical Studies: Old Testament). He has served as the Associate Director of the Society of Biblical Literature and as Senior Academic Editor for Abingdon Press and Westminster/John Knox. He was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in 2003 by the Presbytery of Middle Tennessee and served as pastor of Southminster Presbyterian Church, Indianapolis, IN, before arriving in Clarksville.
Rhonda Banasiak
Lay Pastor
Rhonda Banasiak's first career was as a Medical Technologist. Her last job was working for the Tennessee Department of Health as a Microbiologist. After becoming a stay-at-home mom, Rhonda felt that she was being called to switch gears and become a lay pastor. She finished the Christian Leadership Program at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary in the Fall of 2014. Rhonda has been working for First Presbyterian Church since July 2020. Rhonda Banasiak preaches and leads worship at least once a month and teaches the Wednesday morning Bible study classes that correspond with those services. She also helps with pastoral care needs. Rhonda is also active with the Congregational Care and Worship committees and with our Presbyterian Women group.
